Restaurants and businesses across the nation insurance claims for business interruption are being denied–their policy’s dont specifically state COVID-19 or exclude losses due to viruses. As a preemptive move, Richard Golomb has filed lawsuit in US District Court on behalf of Philadelphia restaurant to make it mandatory for all insurers to cover business financial losses due to COVID-19.
